Cooperative Bylaws

While for profit, A Productivas bylaws are that of a cooperative, including the 7 principles.

Formed as S.R.L For Simplicity

Formed as for profit advertising agency which is the simplest possible structure, and does not concern itself with being a non profit.

Uses Sociocratic Communication

Using the Communication concepts from Sociocracy, including 12 and 2 circles for creating new groups, objections are treated as gifts, and I consent if no better idea right now, called good enough for now.

All Money is For Membership or Ads

As a simple advertising agency we take money in for promotions and subscriptions, and all community projects will have signage on the property as a billboard which will be sold to the productive for self and project promotion, and when sold pays for the project.

  1. Voluntary and Open Membership

  2. Democratic Member Control

  3. Member's Economic Participation

  4. Autonomy and Independence

  5. Education, Training, and Information

  6. Cooperation Among Cooperatives

  7. Concern for Community

7 Cooperative principles:

8 Society Agreements

  1. Technology Autonomy: We unite as a community to reclaim technology's true purpose, turning it from a distraction into a valuable tool. Together, we aim to create cooperative technology, including our search engine and social media network, with the understanding that we should be in control of our technology today, not tomorrow.

  2. Food Sovereignty: Recognizing that growing our own food empowers us, we commit to buying local products and establishing a central kitchen system for product production. By pressuring local businesses to discontinue the sale of single-use plastics and harmful products, such as Aspartame, we can expedite a significant shift toward a healthier and sustainable future.

  3. Environment: As a community, we strive for the cleanest environment worldwide, ensuring the purity of our air, soil, and water. We take collective action to remove toxic chemicals from stores, halt illegal spraying, implement effective recycling systems, and preserve the health of our ecosystem. Our ambition is to establish the best recycling systems globally.

  4. Free Transportation: Recognizing transportation as a major financial burden, we envision a future where everyone can eliminate this expense. Through the transformation of taxis into collectivos and the implementation of free buses, we not only facilitate regional connectivity but also unlock the potential for increased tourism and smoother functioning of other projects.

  5. Quality Education Systems Protects Society: Our commitment to creating an enviable education system is a strategic investment in our community's future. From organic gardens at schools to the comprehensive community garden project, we aim to boost property values, attract strong families to our region, and earn international recognition for our progressive approach to education.

  6. Emergency and Natural Medical Care: We prioritize world-class medical care, both in emergency situations and natural first medical systems, ensuring the well-being of all community members.

  7. Safety and Security: Our vision is to establish the safest region globally through proactive security measures, collaborative efforts with private security, and support from local law enforcement to maintain an honest and secure environment for everyone.

  8. Family Services: With a strong focus on the Food Cooperative Concept and Community Gardens, we vow that no individual, regardless of age or gender, should suffer from hunger. Additionally, we aim to make marriage counseling and mediation services readily available to all, fostering strong and supportive family dynamics.

"A cooperative membership model, combined with Sociocracy based communication structure, plus our own Proprietary Regional Technology to automate it, and a streamlined structure which allows for quick objections, or Consent!

  • Why Are There Two Logins?
In Short one is our wn Google, and one is our Own Facebook. Do you remember when Facebook went from a personal sharing platform to see your family and friends photos, to a business promotion platform. They chose to leave it all in one container and now its Chaos. We don't intend to make the same mistake. The Costa Ballena Times is a simply a place to host real content like write and Articles, Create a classified ad, post a coupon for your business, or your rental property and all without notifications. It allows for commenting on real post like coupons, job openings, properties and more. The second system is a social network for sharing anything you want without a need to create anything to do so. So if you create a job posting for instance in the Costa Ballena Times your can copy that link to all social networks.
  • Which Membership Option Is Best!
Since all money goes directly to projects the question is just simply how much you would like to give. If you dont feel an option fits you needs please give us a call and we can design a customer support option for you. Ideally everyone would upgrade their Costa Ballena Times profile and pay anually up front. discounts are given for 3, 6 and 12 months. This would create the biggest effect on making real projects happen quickly.
  • How do I Give Money Directly to A Specific Project?
We appreciate everyone giving money to the central infrastructure and directly to the projects themselves however we are attempting to prioritize and layer the projects in a way that money goes to the one that makes the others possible. For Example Free Public Transportation basically makes all others much easier to deliver removing a major logistical challenge for every aspect of the plan. For this reason, Community gardens is first and Free Transportation is second. We of course can only be resonsible for funds collected via the system or funds given directly to our staff. While Cash is fine it does create a bit of tracking issues or can so if we get it via the system and cards we can guaranty all money goes where it is most needed.
  • Does it matter if I subscribe to the Costa Ballena Times, or the La Productiva Web Site?"
We prefer everyone use the Costa Ballena Times to upgrade themselves so they get those benefits as well. This website will eventually become the concept site for La Productiva, and the Times will hold it all so please start with a free account, and then upgrade through your dashboard in the times.

If Someone asks you about "A Productive" or "La Productiva" you can best explain it as...

1. It's like an evolution to the cooperative, which is technically a "for-profit", however, it exists without profit as its purpose, It exists like a cooperative to serve the community or meet a need of its membership and uses technology automation to act as the governing structure.

2. People will choose to utilize this structure simply because they hate paperwork and unnecessary cost and want all the money raised to actually make it to the cause it was raised for.

To do this "A Productive" takes the 7 cooperative principles that all coops use, and then adds its own 7 agreements we all agree to with the ability for each community to make edits.

It uses 3 concepts from sociocracy for communication coherence and functional meetings. This includes 12 and 2 circles for creating new teams, treating all objections as gifts, and consent to move forward if you don't have a better idea to speed up decision-making to accelerate progress.

Most important of all it doesn't intend to exist forever, only to get the job done. It will then leave technology is left as a gift to the society and add revenue given to local organizations who need it. The technology must remain owned by the public, however often may be turned over to a chamber of commerce or other volunteer organization who has a staff to manage it.
